Ø http://www.learn.co.uk/ - loads of stuff to help with GCSEs. Still under construction, but there is a lot there and it's very good.
Ø BBC GCSE Bitesize Revision - the one that's always being advertised on TV
Ø Spark Notes - a really good site with notes on loads of novels. They've even got Animal Farm chat!
Ø http://translator.go.com/ - a multi-lingual translator. I wouldn't recommend it for doing your homework because its grammar's not great, but for single words or just getting the general idea of what a passage is about, it's pretty useful.
Ø AS Guru - the BBC's AS revision site.
Ø http://www.s-cool.co.uk/ - another A Level revision site.
Ø Musical Chemistry - there aren't many sites which are educational but manage to make chemistry funny. This site has chemistry related lyrics set to well-known tunes - my personal favourite is Bohemian Rhapsody according to ethanoic acid J
